About

About the Navgraha Dosh Nivaran Puja with Pandit Ji

A larger graha shanti ritual comes with a long list: dates, samagri, pandits and a sequence that has to run in order. Two pandits can share the work, so the family can take part without managing every detail.

This is a traditional shanti ritual involving the nine grahas, with prayers, mantra recitation and a havan. Many families choose it when their astrologer recommends a graha shanti for something in the chart. It is a traditional practice, not a guaranteed remedy.

Families whose astrologer has suggested a Navagraha shanti; people who want a fuller version of Navagraha worship; households marking a big occasion.

Timing is often chosen from the panchang and the chart. Please check with your astrologer. The pandit can suggest muhurat options, and your family's custom takes priority.

About 3 hours for the standard ceremony; about 4.5 hours for the extended one

If your astrologer has not specified a format, start with the standard. If a fuller vidhi has been advised or elders expect it, choose the extended.

Choose 'With samagri' and the pandit brings the ritual items. Choose 'Own samagri' if you already have them or prefer to buy them yourself. Ask the pandit for the list early if you are arranging items yourself.

The person or household the ritual is held for, usually with close family. Families decide who sits for the main rituals.

Which grahas are emphasised, and the mantras and counts used, vary by tradition and astrologer. Tell us your tradition at booking.

Havan and diyas involve an open flame. Use a stable heat-safe surface, keep the space ventilated, keep water nearby, and keep flames away from curtains, children and pets. Follow your building's rules on havan in common areas.

How long should I plan for? About 3 hours for the standard ceremony and about 4.5 hours for the extended one, plus setup.

Does this ritual remove a dosh? We cannot promise any outcome. It is a traditional ritual families choose; please ask your astrologer about your chart.

How is this different from Navagraha Pujan? Both involve worship of the nine grahas. This one is a longer shanti format with two pandits. The pandit can explain the differences.

Can we ask for a specific graha to be emphasised? Yes, share your astrologer's advice at booking and the pandit will follow it where possible.
