What we collect
When you place an order: your name, delivery address, email, phone number and what you bought. Payment details are entered on our payment provider's page and never reach our systems.
When you write to us: your message and the email or number you sent it from.
When you browse: basic, aggregated analytics — pages viewed, rough location by city, device type. We do not build advertising profiles.
Why we hold it
To assemble and deliver your kit, to answer you when something goes wrong, and to meet the tax and accounting records Indian law requires us to keep.
If you sign up for the week-before note, to email you once before each festival. Nothing else is sent to that list, and every email carries an unsubscribe link.
Who else sees it
Our payment provider, our courier partners and our email provider — each only receives what they need to do their part, and none of them may use it for anything else.
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. There is no scenario in which we would.
How long we keep it
Order records for eight years, because tax law says so. Enquiry emails for two years. Newsletter details until you unsubscribe, then deleted within thirty days.
Your choices
Write to hello@vedicrituals.in to see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete everything we're not legally required to keep. We act within thirty days.
Cookies
We use only what the store needs to work — remembering your cart between visits — plus privacy-respecting analytics. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
