Families often want to begin something new with a Ganapati homam, but the details can be confusing: the samagri, the mantras and the timing. A pandit takes charge of the homam and the sequence so you can sit with your family.

Ganesha is traditionally worshipped at the start of any undertaking. A Ganapati homam is a fire ritual with mantras and offerings dedicated to him. Customs vary by region.

Families beginning a new home, business or venture; people marking a school or career milestone; households that follow the Ganapati tradition, especially in South India and Maharashtra.

Many families choose Chaturthi, Wednesdays or any day the pandit suggests from the panchang. Your family's custom takes priority.
